Season Archive

The season archive keeps the team’s work in context. Each year gets its own record for people, goals, robot, competitions, outreach, media, documents, results, and lessons—without presenting an old snapshot as the current team.

Active record · 2026–2027

The new season starts with a clean record.

Leadership, roster, goals, meeting notes, game strategy, design reviews, build logs, code, outreach, competition details, and results will be added as they are confirmed. Counts and roles should always include an “as of” date.

Historical snapshot · 2025

A season of technical depth and community impact.

The 2025 sponsor impact report documented 15 students, three school mentors, three industry mentors, competition travel to Cincinnati and Knoxville, more than 1,000 student volunteer hours, more than 5,000 CAD hours, more than 20 professional interviews, two internships, and student experience with CNC/CAM work.

That same report documented outreach through a Pond Gap robotics club, Rocky Hill Science Night, and a recycling-robot initiative. Archived robot-planning notes emphasized reliability, automation, coral scoring, algae handling, autonomous positioning, swerve drive, and a deep-cage endgame.

All numbers and roles above belong to the dated 2025 report. They are not the current roster.

Archive rule

Google Drive can remain the working file store. Malfunctionz.org should be the organized index and readable record: what a document is, which season it belongs to, who owns it, whether it is current, and why someone should open it.
